Today, 1,198 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Laos, with the first cases being reported in Houaphanh Province.

 

Over the last 24 hours, 6,729 tests were completed around the country, with 1,198 new cases verified, according to the National Taskforce for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

 

Across the country, there were 1,196 cases of community spread and two imported cases.

 

New Death

 

A 79-year-old man from Viengkham Village in Sikhottabong District, Vientiane Capital, died in 103 Hospital yesterday evening. Diabetes, hypertension, heart problems, and paralysis had all afflicted him. He wasn't immune to Covid-19 because he hadn't been immunized.
