Creating website and hosting in Thailand

Featured Replies

I’d like to create a business website myself. Did one years ago in oz. What software do you recommend for a non-IT person and also advice on Thailand hosting. It will be in English and Thai selling packaged food domestically and exporting.

Wordpress is probably the most straight forward.

There are numerous template websites that offer the build it yourself hosting and finance processing all in one. Shopify being a typical example.

1. Go to fivrr and have a website created usign a wordpress plugin called Elementor. Study the code and use it to develop your wordpress skills.

2. You do not need to host your website in Thailand, you only need to make sure you use a Thai domain name but a Thai individual must register it.

You can host anywhere you like and you do not need a "Thai" domain name.

Wordpress is as good as any. You can add a "shop" via various apps that are available.

That's correct but I think he wants a Thai website for marketing purposes. I would as well if exporting from Thailand.

Thank you so much for replies so far. Yes I’d like it to be a Thai website if that’s possible.

Not so, any nationality with a presence in Thailand can register .th domains. I registered my first .in.th domain a looong time ago (for individuals).

I also have two .co.th domains but they require business registration, much harder to get.
