- you "may" but you "can not".

If you are muted/banned the topic title message appears on every "acknowledge the warning" page, but you can not actually send private messages until your mute/ban expires.

"...or email support (at) ASEANNOW.com..."

Does sending an email not work?

Sure it would work, but the phrase should be changed to "You may send an email to support (at) ASEANNOW.com to discuss moderation policy."

You may??

I did this before but never any reply.

Some mods here are very friendly and participate in discussions and even are funny.

Other just appear to ban you for no reason.

Ups..... probably gained myself another holiday 555

Many active users have left.

As stated in the OP:

  • If you are muted/banned the topic title message appears on every "acknowledge the warning" page, but you can not actually send private messages until your mute/ban expires.

That is correct, when a member is suspended from posting, the use of the PM is disabled to prevent the suspended member from sending abusive messages to other members.
