Travelling within Thailand with the "EU digital Covid vaccination certificate"

Featured Replies

Hello,

Did anyone have problems using the EU digital Covid vaccination certificate when travelling within Thailand? Is it accepted when checking-in at airports, ferrys, at a hotel, when entering a province, in restaurants (if required) etc.

I don't have the Thailand pass as I entered Thailand in summer.

Never even had anybody asking me for any vaccine info. hehe

Yes, true in most cases.

But I hear about vaccination checks when going to Koh Chang or to Nan Province. So with 76 provinces and 76 travel rules it might happen anywhere, at least outside Greater Bangkok or Chon Buri.

Used a print out of my EU Digital Covid Cert to check in for a Thai Smile flight from Suvarnabhumi to Khon Kaen last month. It was accepted without question by check in staff.

I have a laminated EU (Dutch) certificate in my car as i travel a lot between Phuket and PhangNga and never had any issues to return back to Phuket.

Show my certificate together with my yellow house book and can drive straight through.
