Greetings,

Has anybody had good results with simple electronic translation devices. Phone app or other??

 

I have one on my phone which my Mrs said is good. 

I just went internet on Mobile and downloaded it.

It has a picture of a round Thai flag next a round UK flag and just says free Thai-Eng translate. 

It does other languages too. 

 

I am using an app called "camera translator", take pic of document, app detects language, translates into a language of your choice, I use it successfully for Thai to English/German, even handwritten notes. Advantage: you can download many language packages and use the app offline also

    Thanks for the replies. Looking for something simple for basic help with conversation.

    Will look at google translate.
