Pfizer on Tuesday said final analysis of its antiviral Covid-19 pill still showed near 90% efficacy in preventing hospitalizations and deaths in high-risk patients.

 

Recent lab data suggests the drug retains its effectiveness against the fast-spreading omicron variant of the coronavirus.

Another good day of data and declines from worldometer in terms of both infection rates and deaths over the past week showing another fall of 20% and 2% respectively.

Thailand continues to perform well as opposed to Vietnam who continue to show an increase.

Thailand on Wednesday (December 15) reported 3,370 new COVID-19 cases, 4,557 recoveries and 29 additional deaths over the past 24 hours.
