I used to apply in October but due to Covid I lost it.

 

I'm back here now and starting the process again if all goes well this will mean that I have to renew early April each year but in the past we have always been abroad April/May  (avoiding Songran and the really hot weather) so I am trying to understand how far ahead I can renew it each year - if it's 1 month that means I could renew it in March and then leave for my vacation..

 

At the immigration offices in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Buriram and one or two other locations you can apply for a new extension extern extern extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp, must other offices are when you have 30 days or less left.

In addition to above post ....be aware that it's possible that immigration office may allow you to apply more early than the guidelines. Showing flight out etc.

Have read posts of additional 15 days early.
