State-run mortgage lender, Government Housing Bank (GH Bank), is holding a virtual auction of second-hand properties this Sunday, offering special starting bids and deferred interest for up to two years.

The event, dubbed “Full Moon Full Sale,” will take place via the bank’s mobile application, GH Bank Smart NPA from 10 am to 2 pm. There are four rounds of auctions depending on the location.

GH Bank will auction off 3,700 properties across the country, including detached houses, twin houses, townhouses, condominiums, flats, commercial buildings, and vacant land. Some 1,000 of these are located in Bangkok and its vicinity.

You cannot run an auction of 3700 properties in 4 hours if you know what you are doing, unless of course you accept every first bid. But then the paperwork might be a problem.
