Top cop Surachate Hakpan - the lieutenant general known in the Thai media as Big Joke - was pictured at the arrest of six Thai men in balaclavas involved in smuggling Myanmar migrants.

Twenty three migrants were dumped in Kamphang Phet in Na Bo Kham sub-district after one vehicle overturned, reported Daily News.

Three migrants died and four were injured.

Several drivers and accomplices aged 20-32 were arrested along with a 31 year old man who gave himself up.

Working with an unnamed figure in Myanmar the gang brought in illegal migrants into Thailand.

They are facing charges for people smuggling.

Warrants had been issued for the arrest of the gang according to earlier Daily News reports from November 7th following the accident in which a pick-up overturned.

Time Thailand got put back at the top of the people trafficking list.

So if the vehicle had not overturned then Big Joke would have known nothing, just another photo op for him, it was not him that made the arrests.

Anytime the biggest joke surfaces, it is a bad day for Thailand. He should be banished and stripped of his passport, never to return to Thailand again. He is really bad news.
