New Thai Imm 90 Day Reporting Software Solution same old Rubbish

Yes, I know some of you have had success, but it's those submitted that have failed that are the burning issue.

 

My Experience:

 

1. Followed the registration steps as required - Success

 

2. Logged in and submitted my 90-Day information of all fields as per previous TM 47 online and manual reports - Success

 

3. Email notification received report successfully - Success

 

4. Checked the status "Pending" - Success

 

5. Next morning new email, "Your application for"STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected. - Failure

 

OMG %^$%&^%&%^*&^*^&*^%&*^&(**&(*&(*&(*&(&*(*&*(^&*^&* I want to scream!

 

No error code or explanation of why it was rejected?

 

6. For further information regarding The 90-day Notification Report Service.

 

Please contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area.

 

Contact Who? Every time I have gone down this road previously no resolution! 

 

Past Experiences

 

Talk to Imm officers at CW; application not work!

Sent emails to IMM Division 1 CW; first reply forwarded to appropriate people; follow-up emails no reply!

Called the hotline 1178 for days, gave up after busy continuously or on-hold for 30-45 mins!

 

Context:

My local immigration office is CW

Applied online 12 days out before the due expiration date of my current stay!

Have not had a successful online application approved (old system) since May 2020

Prior to that, I had the previous 5 online application approved (old system)

I have had to have all my 90-day reports processed manually at CW post Aug 2020 

The Imm old iPhone App indicates currently indicates I am 253 days Overstay (which is BS) - suspect the issue for rejection?

 

IMHO these people that designed the software and the associated business processes have little or no idea how to build successful online business solutions.

 

I am not the smartest tool in the tool-shed but within a month based on what I have seen any good experienced solution architect and business process manager worth their salt could knock up a customized off-the-shelf software solution and associated integrated business processes framework (including a manned human help desk, rejection reason codes / explanation feedback, FAQ, an online help -chat / support feature and software IT application support personnel to fix issues and of course a feedback and suggestions link) that are all required to build out something Thai Imm just continuously fails to deliver on.

 

Look at the number of restarts they have had on this software solution.

 

There's no excuse; it's not rocket science!

There have been many people reporting to Chaeng Wattana that have the same problem as you are when using the new system.

Very few people reporting to other offices have had the same problem.

My best guess is that the new system is as flawed as the previous systems (web and app).

It appears to me in many cases the flaw is on the receiving end now.

Registered etc. My window opens Jan 13. 

I already have all the photocopies etc in my envelope for posting.

Will try 14 days pre due date.

The result will be unsuccessful.

Will then walk post office job done.

How hard is it to build straight forward system. 

I sometimes think by way of comparison of my online banking apps. They work perfectly (for more complicated processes)  and yet how long has this online 90 report been  an embarrassment..

*Shorten your address

 

Even if you live in an apt block, just write your flat number and the soi

Cool. So the Imm staff reviewing the filing could offer this as a reason?  They used to do this with the old system with the ADMIN remarks field.

 

Many of us used the "OLD" systems, until we couldn't.

 

Some of us file by post, yet any mistake, spelling error, address format seems to be handled easily.

 

There is obviously some issue at CW with the new system, and it's not some rando address format issue.

Agree with your post.

My issue is that since I was booted from old online system I have been doing it via mail..

Bit of mucking around but works.

 

So 15 days prior for my next due date comes around I like to post straight away if online does not work (which it never does).

 

With the new system I want confirmation virtually straight away. Next day at latest..

Not going to stuff around with multiple filing efforts. 

Will post it straight after rejection.

 

CW recommends post 15 days prior to due date. I like to stick with what is suggested.

It might work when your next report is due.

You should at least try it to see if it works.

You do not have to mail your report to Chaeng Wattana 14 days early. If it is received by about 7 day before it will still be processed (many reports of them being accepted. Send it by EMS so the gets by 7 day before and it will be done.

But some report that CW takes  seven (7) days for ONE rejection. Add in holidays, weekends you may end up with one shot only.

 

What's the point?

 

I guess if people start reporting 100% success rate with CW I'll risk it. Otherwise, post is fine for me. It's really simple. They return all the docs so I just pull up the previous PDF, change the month, print it and write in the day, sign it. Done.

I take it from your example you use CW. Glad it worked on third attempt, but does the mobile app say you are on x days visa overstay in error like rest of us?

They have gotten quicker since it first started.

The Immigration Bureau is certainly pushing for the new system to be used.

The app is still connected to the old system. The new one does not block you from submitting a report like the old one.

Many people have gotten approvals that were blocked from submitting a report before.

I'm only a 15 minute drive from our local office, but I'd still rather do it online than go there. The old system mostly worked for me.

That depends upon where you live. For many people it is a long trip to immigration. And at many offices it takes much longer than 5 minutes to the report in person. For some it can be hours not minutes to get it done at immigration.

On line is not working. I applied twice this week and application was rejected both times. Went to the office today and did it in a few minutes.

I'm surprised that a five minute  procedure  could take so long. Regarding travel  time: If I lived so far from civilisation I would make a day of it, have a meal, do some shopping etc

That is misleading since the rejection does not state the reason. Only the online reporting app gives has that message and it is still on the old system and it will not let you submit a report.

Overstay on old app. No overstay on new app.
