Do western men know their worth?
I think you might be looking at it too much from a "rich White guy in Thailand" perspective. Sure, if he was setting up home in Thailand, you would expect him to find a stunningly attractive 20 year old Thai girl from a good family, ready to cook and clean and start a family. Sure, she is a little old. But I think you need to remember that she could be a decent person, he might not mind her age, and she might be opening doors to a world he wants to be part of. At least he knows she is not after him just for his money (although she obviously wouldn't be with him if he was broke) and their combined wealth might be really attractive to him in terms of lifestyle and child rearing.
