I did my extension renewal based on income (marriage based) today,  and the application was accepted by immigration

However, the last 2 months, my income has come via transferwise, and although they should be marked as " funds for long term stay in Thailand" they just shows as domestic transfers from Dee money in Thailand.

I supplied the PDF from transferwise that shows they originated as a Euro transfer, but am concerned as they are not official documents

So, should I be worried about this, could it be rejected down the line? If this does become an issue, will I likely be given a chance to resolve it, or would it just result in the application being denied

So you received under consideration stamp?

That means your application is acceptable..

Just return on date indicated for your final stamp.

None of my monthly income deposits have ever shown up as an international deposit.

The TransferWise (now Wise) transaction confirmation forms, downloaded from their website, have been accepted by my immigration office for the last 3 years as proof of international transfer. I've never had any problem with them.

If they were accepted by your local office I'm sure that you'll be OK.

For sure.

Have you ever seen a rejection after given under consideration stamp. I haven't.

Just curious.

I just find the process a bit stressful. A couple of years ago, Phuket immigration outright refused to accept an application based on income. Flat out said they cannot do it based on income. Was fortunate that about 2 weeks later, head of Phuket immigration was quoted by the local press saying that income based is perfectly acceptable. Just had enough time to go and make the application before my visa expired.

Thankfully, my now local immigration (Phitsanulok) are a lot more laid back and reasonable than Phuket

From a discussion that my wife had with our very friendly IO a couple of years back, we gleaned that the main reason that marriage applications go to the regional offices for final approval is so that the marriage itself can be scrutinized for any irregularities.

It's a precaution against sham marriages and the regional offices have the resources to carry out the extra checks required.

If the O/P's marriage is kosher then he's home clear.

It seems to be a general theme that once you get away from the 'falang heavy' regions the immigration offices are more laid back and accommodating. We noticed it when we moved from Udon Thani to Sakon Nakhon. We don't even need a witness anymore.

How long has that been a thing?

At Bangkok for a long time. Now a few other offices are only wanting one set of documents.
