January 28, 20224 yr Hi im still trying to get to Bangalore i have a medical visa that ends on 16 march.i had my TA flight cancelled on 7 January now there is a message on TA app that they are only doing repatriation flights ie thai and indian nationals.i cant get a straight answer from thai smile either on entering through Kolkata. so when thai pass resumes as a foreigner can i enter india on a flight from bangkok from feb 1st?
January 29, 20224 yr Where do you want to fly to in India? Thai is operating repatriation flights on Mondays and Wednesdays to New Delhi. There are no restrictions based on citizenship, AFAIK. You can call the Thai office in Bangkok.
January 30, 20224 yr Pretty damned daring under these conditions, I'd say! Are you okay with riding out the pandemic in India & not getting back here for the foreseeable future???
January 30, 20224 yr Only scheduled flight operating to india are those from countries that they have a 'bubble agreement' with and right now Thailand is not included. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/omicron-regular-international-flights-suspended-till-february-28-air-bubbles-to-continue/articleshow/88991622.cms
January 30, 20224 yr Author Yes that's what Thai airways is saying but I'm not sure from 1st of February I'm hoping things change or India opens up for international flights so it's indians and thais only,
January 30, 20224 yr That scheduled flight suspension runs through 28 February but that doesn't mean things change next day. The ban has been in place for months and its just extended time and time again as Covid situation dictates. I'm not even certain you have the option of entering via a third country, say Dubai, as rules are pretty strict there.
February 12, 20224 yr Travel bubble with India proposed which ties in a treat with India dropping the 7 day home quarantine requirement. https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/2262919/hopes-pinned-on-india-travel-bubble
