Why does AseanNow publish blurred photos? If we aren't allowed to see what is shown in the picture why use it at all? Thai logic - here's a photo but you aren't allowed to see what it's of.

That is what I find MOST shocking... they let this pervert run around for a week, until he has to face the music... in any "normal" country, he would already be jailed, no matter any navy/police rank OR civilian.

He has been DETAINED to stop him tampering with evidence or intimidating the witnesses. they will bring navy disciplinary actions first then the cops take over, that how understand it from READING the FULL story.

I guess he caught them coming and going.  ????

Really - I don't understand the draw of that sort of perversion.
Does this type of behavior turn anyone in the forum on?
If so - Please explain - why?  Especially considering how easy it is to get into a sexual relationship here with consenting partners.
Voyeurism?  I don't understand it.  Who "broke" people like this when they were kids?

If he has caught high ranking, or fellow officer's wives or family, That naval discipline might be rather severe.

Innocent until proven guilty I suppose, but it would have been a different story if he wasn't a Navy Officer (Lieutenant Commander, no less)

OK - you tell me where in the "full story" in the article we are commenting on does it say that he has been detained? Or are you referring to a different article which we do not know about - we are not mind readers, but would probably have a "ganders" at it if you provide a link!

The man who was not named by Sanook will meet with police next Thursday, but twenty three victims of his perverted activities have already filed complaints on January 10th.

So what's taking them so long - I guess my previous post will give an inkling!

Surely not this serious.

Once the media got a hold of the story, they will have to be seen as coming down hard on such behaviour.  This definitely warrants being sent to an inactive post.  ????

On a serious note, the police should interview young members of this guy's family.  They may find child porn and evidence of sexual assault.
