Thailand’s economy for the year 2021 grew by 1.6%, better than the projected growth of 1.2%, according to the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC).

According to Deputy Government Spokesperson Traisuree Traisoranakul, the prime minister is pleased with last year’s economic performance.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha vowed today (Monday) to push full steam ahead to restore the national economy, hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, in conjunction with efforts to contain the spread of the disease.

You statement is priceless. You regularly criticize the many policies the government make, yet you praise the top man who makes them. Rather contradictory isn't it, unless you have a thing for the man!

percentages and growth figures might look very well on paper and might fool a lot of people but not all

my growth has doubled from last month - now that might mean something if you were 6ft tall

revenue increased 1% from this time last year - well fine if it hadn't declined 50% the past 2 years

Total nonsense. Economic growth means nothing when you are coming back from an extreme lockdown.

It is likely the economy has contracted 10-15% overall, from 2019. Foreign investment is down, the real estate market is in the toilet, new car sales are way, way down, thousands of hotels and tourism related businesses are either bankrupt or way down. Suicides, homelessness and unemployment are way up. The economic destruction is devastating.

Stop the games. Stop the lies. Resign now Cha Cha.

I would take that as Sarcasm!
