How are they neutral when they have joined the EU on all 7 sanction packages?

Neutral as in not declaring war on anyone else for a long time.

I'm a bit surprised that they aligned themselves with the west though, unless they think it won't come back to bite them.

Hate to be the bearer of dismal news.............................

Repaired German Leopard tanks for Ukraine won’t be ready till 2024, says arms maker

Repairing the tanks it has in stock will cost several hundred million euros, and the company cannot begin doing so before the order is confirmed, Rheinmetall chief executive Armin Papperger told the German newspaper Bild.

“The vehicles must be completely dismantled and rebuilt,” he said.

Germany has become one of Ukraine’s top military supporters in response to Russia’s invasion, overcoming a taboo rooted in its bloody 20th century history on sending weapons to conflict zones.

A Ukraine apartment building has suffered the deadliest civilian attack in months - with 29 people killed after a Russian missile strike.

The confirmed death toll of the Dnipro strike rose to 29 on Sunday (January 15) as rescue workers scrambled to reach survivors in the rubble, the regional governor reported.

Actually, the Russian missile was allegedly not aimed on apartments but on energy equipment somewhere.

Few sources - among them medusa.io that is really no pro-Putin friend - quoted Alexei Arestovich, adviser to Zelenskyy, saying that the missile that fell down on a nine-story residential building in Dnipro was shot down by Ukrainian air defence forces. He later backtracked his statement.

They are neutral when they can supply their precise weapons to any country able to pay. WW 1 and 2, in-between and afterwards.

Just straightening the news a bit. Surely, no missiles firing is okay with me.  No need to fire it on me, I did not start the war and I do not support the war as others.

A straightening of the news is not okay for you?

What you call ‘straightening the news’ is spinning the news to suit your narrative. And as for not supporting the war (the Russian side of it, that is): almost all of your previous posts suggest otherwise.

It's not me who is spinning the news. And the narrative was not mine. That the truth is not always pleasant for somebody to read is not my problem.

Of course I too do not approve of missiles firing on energy systems. But it always happens in any war, haven't you known about such wars?

Hopefully, it was not you who was involved in something like that.

Christine Lambrecht  ,German minister of Defense has stepped down.

She blundered a few times and was not really up to date with all of the facts.

hope fully they can find some one who keeps supporting the Ukraine

and send more real help.

Expect a false flag incident in Belarus very soon.

Russia and Belarus began joint air force exercises on Monday, amid concern Minsk may start participating in the conflict in Ukraine directly, as Kyiv's intelligence said Russia is planning a renewed war push in 2023.

Lukashenko agreed in October 2022 to create a joint "regional grouping of troops" with Russia, saying the decision was made in response to provocations by the NATO military alliance on its border with Ukraine, and Ukrainian plans to attack Belarus.

Since then, Russia has been sending military equipment to Belarus. The two nations also extended joint military drills on January 8 amid fears that Minsk is being pressured to join the war.

Was it a question? Many links I provided you have obviously missed to see. And many that have been disappeared.

And if you read properly my post the news name - not Russian friendly - I have provided, here is the full link if it is allowed:

Latest Update from the UK Ministry of Defence which has reference to the strike on the block of flats at Dnipro and the false claim by Russia that a Ukraine air defence missile was responsible.

(1/7) On 14 January 2023, Russia resumed long-range missile strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure, the first in approximately 15 days, launching tens of missiles.

(2/7) As with the previous eight waves of strikes since 11 October 2022, Russia primarily targeted the Ukrainian electricity grid.

(3/7) An AS-4 KITCHEN large anti-ship missile, launched from a Tu-22M3 BACKFIRE medium bomber, highly likely struck a block of flats in Dnipro city which resulted in the death of at least 40 people.

(4/7) Russia falsely implied a Ukrainian air defence missile was responsible. KITCHEN is notoriously inaccurate when used against ground targets as its radar guidance system is poor at differentiating targets in urban areas.

(5/7) Similar weapons have been responsible for other incidents of civilian mass-casualties, including the Kremenchuk shopping centre strike of 27 June 2022.

(6/7) While some missiles such as KITCHEN are unsuitable for precision strike, evidence from the Ukraine war suggests that dysfunction of Russia’s long-range strike capability is more profound.

(7/7) It highly likely struggles to dynamically identify targets, and to access rapid and accurate battle damage assessment.

A Ukraine air defence missile would never have caused so much damage.

Meanwhile, soldiers on the front line hope for modern tanks.

The Australian ABC article described him as "high ranking".

He said that Mr Medvedev is a former soldier in the Russian army and that he later served time in prison between 2017 and 2018 before joining the Wagner Group.

He was placed in charge of a Wagner division in Ukraine, where the mercenary group supplied him with around 30-40 troops every week, Mr Osechkin said.
