The Wagner terrorists have carried out another sledgehammer execution on one of their own..............................

Sledgehammer execution of Russian mercenary who fled shown on video

Feb 13 (Reuters) - A video showing the sledgehammer execution of a former Russian mercenary who fled the Wagner mercenary group while fighting in Ukraine was shared on social media on Monday.

In an unverified video published by the Grey Zone Telegram channel, which is linked to Wagner, a man identifies himself as Dmitry Yakushchenko, 44, and says he was born in Crimea and left prison before joining Wagner.

"I was planning on finding some loophole, just, as they say, to run away," he said, adding that it was "not his war" and that he planned on leaving.

"Russia's foreign ministry rejected the reports." Which obviously means they are true............

US 'deeply concerned' by reports of Russian plans to take over Moldova

The allegations had concerned the White House, with its national security spokesperson John Kirby saying the move would "certainly not be outside the bounds of Russian behaviour".

Though rumours of the Russian takeover plan couldn't be independently verified, he said they were "deeply concerning".

I know absolutely nothing whether ones or others plan to take over Moldova.  Perhaps you know more?

I am just amazed about your logic you have expressed:

"Russia's foreign ministry rejected the reports." Which obviously means they are true............

Do you similarly think about every foreign ministry in case they reject reports accusing them of something bad? ("which obviously means they are true").

In these days we know about a very serious investigated report by own citizen - quite respectful one - that was rejected as a nonsense.  I assume that's not the case you would have on mind, would you?

An interesting article on Russian emigres fleeing the war

Not so surprising fact while the country is in the current turmoil, not only under the spell of war but also under the many sanctions. Perhaps it's compensated by the high number of the immigration, especially from Ukraine, almost 3 M officially, unofficially much more.

Enforced migration to Russia of Ukrainian refugees. I doubt they have the IT skills of the Russian educated class who have fled Russia.

Enforced migration? Perhaps it explains why the Russians do not have enough manpower for the combat: the military is busy with the migration enforcing.  In order to enforce 3M it needs really a lot of henchmen...

I'd say the fighter jets was never a starter anyway. They cost huge amounts of money and with the back up and spares etc the cost could run into billions just for planes. I doubt Ukraine has the people that can maintain the computer systems on them, let alone the engines, and without them they are just expensive exhibits.

Even America does not have an inexhaustible source of money, and Britain is already in financial strife.

Good to see some Thai media is picking up on the lies being spread by the Russian trolls and officials.

A year of disinformation around the war in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has been accompanied by a ferocious battle of disinformation, waged in particular by pro-Russian agitators seeking to distort and shift the blame for many atrocities on the ground.

These agitators have sought to depict the Ukrainian side as Nazis or suggest that Western support for Kyiv is evaporating.

Here are some of the main narratives, false or misleading, that have been fact-checked over the past year by AFP’s digital verification teams.

How else than "disinformation" to call it? Just to read here. But disregarding others who say something else. And not really from RT:

Not mentioning the assessments of the real war experts hardly published on MSM.
