What do you suggest I should be doing then? Assault Russian holidaymakers in Pattaya? Just to show em who's boss?

Would that make you feel better?

Turn on a TV, watch the latest drone footage of cities being flattened and stop making any excuses for Russia.

No if's or but's just condemnation.

I was just wondering why there are contradictory statements from Prayuth and the UN embassador.

Neutrality actually means an abstention voting, correct me if I am wrong.

Russian slaughter apologist please tell me, are Ukrainian tanks in Moscow?

Do you think Ukraine or NATO where going to invade Russia?

Is that the reason they invaded then?

A few posts concerning the Holocaust memorial have been removed.  The topic isn't about the memorial and nonsensical deflections will earn suspensions.

So that makes It's ok for Russia to feel threatened and invade another country?

Yes, Ukraine was getting friendly with the Western World and moving away from Russian influence and there has been talk of them joining NATO and Putin has long stated that Russia wouldn't accept that situation

You'll struggle to find anyone who supports the invasion of Iraq, so I'm not sure how this supports your argument.

So he lied when he said he was there to clear it of nazi’s.?

He did claim that some of the Ukrainian military had Nazi affiliations and there were independent Nazi militia in Ukraine who were attacking ethnic Russians in the area and the Ukrainian Neo Nazi gangs were also attacking Gypsies and LBTG people  in Ukraine and had been growing into a political party and gaining support

Ukraine hasn't joined NATO, and is nowhere near being admitted to NATO

Rather than cop out with "he claimed" why don't you try and educate yourself before spouting more nonsense.

The far right in Ukraine got less than 2% of the popular vote in 2019.

Then why didn't he go after the nazis in Russia?

When Vladimir Putin announced Russia’s invasion of Ukraine at dawn on Thursday, he justified the “special military operation” as having the goal to “denazify” Ukraine. The justification is not tenable, but it would be a mistake simply to dismiss it.

Vladimir Putin is himself a fascist autocrat, one who imprisons democratic opposition leaders and critics. He is the acknowledged leader of the global far right, which looks increasingly like a global fascist movement.

Putin, the leader of Russian Christian nationalism, has come to view himself as the global leader of Christian nationalism, and is increasingly regarded as such by Christian nationalists around the world, including in the United States.

Widespread xenophobia among the Russian population also continues to provide fertile ground for neo-Nazis and other ultranationalist groups.

Many Russians blame immigrants for stealing jobs and committing crimes.

“We will strive for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine,” the Russian leader said in an address last week ordering a military attack on Ukraine, adding his goal was “to protect people who have been abused by the genocide of the Kyiv regime for eight years.”

The accusations only got more bizarre a few days later, when Putin said Ukrainian soldiers should “take power into your own hands” against “this gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis.”

Putin’s rationale for invading Ukraine was the most high-profile example of disinformation experts say the Kremlin has tried to percolate for years.

You've just fallen of that fence and landed on the wrong side. An almost perfect description of the not so hidden elements within Russia itself, attacks on gypsies by extremists, Nazi extremist gangs and militia, LBGT persecution throughout Russia.

Quite ironic that Russia is home to neo nazi training and it was the destination which the extremists from Sweden went to for training before bombing a refugee center in Sweden.

I've not seen Putin declare a war on this within his own homeland.

Instead using a false Nazi narrative to justify Russia's unprovoked attack on the Ukraine, a narrative that is seeded by the Kremlin and state media through the the Kremlin troll army.

I see your firmly part of that now.

The world has woken up to Russia's aggression.

No, moving the border so that NATO/USA and Ukraine would not be able to put hostile missiles on Ukrainian territory

Which means an elimination completely of Ukraine...

...the idea of Ukraine as a Nazi state is deeply rooted in the Russian nationalist narrative.

Similarly, Putin’s claims of “genocide” in Ukraine reflect Russian nationalism. Ukraine has a large ethnic Russian population, especially in its East, and many Ukrainians of all ethnicities speak Russian. In Putin’s paranoid telling, these people are not merely rightful Russian citizens wrongfully separated from the motherland; they are potential victims of an ethnic cleansing campaign by the neo-Nazi Ukrainian government.

So, I should get all emotional about it like you. Anything else means one doesn't care, right? What have you changed so far by watching TV and being indignant?

Are we in kindergarten or what?

The NATO countries have far more skin in the game regarding trade with Russia compared to Thailand, and yet have committed to sanctions against Russia and support of the Ukrainian military, unlike Thailand.

And it just keeps getting worse....

Russia is now shelling the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, a nuke facility multiple times larger than Chernobyl. If it is breached, the fallout would spread across all of Europe.

Apparently there is no Red Line. If one has nukes, one can invade whomever they want, kill as many civilians as they desire, even unleash fallout across the world's largest economic zone and home to almost a billion people.

Confront Little Vlad the Psychopath, and we get nuclear winter.  Oh, and if anyone now doesn't think putin is a psychopath, then let me recommend jeffrey Dahmer as your live-in cook.
