Tangmo Case Not Closed Yet

BANGKOK, March 11 (TNA) – Police said they could not conclude their investigation into the death of actress Pattaratida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong today when her beautifully organized memorial service was set to begin.

 

Pol Lt Gen Jirapat Phumjit, commissioner of the Provincial Police Region 1, said police would not close their case on the actress’s death as many parties expected because they were gathering evidence including results from forensic examinations by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital which was working in parallel with the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Police General Hospitals to clear up all doubts.

 

Meanwhile, the beautifully decorated memorial service of Tangmo was scheduled to begin today.

simple accident cases are closed within days.

the more complicated, involving many people and big money, 2 forensic hospitals, senate commission, do last and conclusion is not certain.

today they suppose to conclude case, but now even the new date was not mentioned

If ordinary Khun Somchai or Khun Somying had fallen off the boat and drowned, the case would have been closed the following morning.

Agreed.  This is RTP's chance to hog the limelight and try, in vain, to justify their existence.  They are a boil on the backside of Thailand's reputation which would have been lanced years ago apart from the fact that a corrupt police force benefits the decision makers.

On top of it with an army brass as unofficial suspect, at a time the government is allegedly targeting corruption in the RTP. ????

I can't really make any conclusion after viewing that, other than it did not look like she was getting any help! My Mrs was on about this at dinner last night, and getting quite animated.... she said any wealthy Hi-So can apparently kill with immunity here! People who complain may well just vanish......

Agree it's not conclusive evidence, although it does not fit with any of their stories.

 

I know there's bigger issues in the world now, but the underlying principle seems to be that the elite can get away with murder.
