The driver has admitted it was his fault and has been tested and was over the limit. No 'do you know who I am', no intervention by the father, and the police will now press charges.

And yet, out come the AseanNow cynics as usual.

 

This isn't the Red Bull case.  Completely different circumstances and reaction by all involved. And in response to a Pakistani and not a Thai being killed, no less.

Being the son of an ex-topcop I would have thought dad would have given him clear instructions, like 'what ever you do, do not ever get yourself into trouble with the law)

The bigger problem is when 'nothing' is seen to happen to ***** like this, it is a massive green light to their ilk that they can do what the hell they like.

I think with the recent 'stiffened' penalties for DUI he can probably kill at least another 2 before he even loses his license ...
