Flight ticket to meet up with Red Bull heir pending?

Khun Boss would be due his monthly visit to Thailand so if Khun Porn asks nicely he may be able to climb aboard the private jet when he heads back to Europe.

In other words, he had not been to the "dentist" prior to the accident.

I think we expect that the next vehicular homicide/manslaughter here will the the one which breaks the dam. It isn't this one, and there won't ever be one.

I mean, I guess, if some chap mowed down a dozen school-children there might be some push-back?

That doesn't always work either. Take the case of Moo Ham when he got into a tizz and mowed down a bus queue!

Wirachai was sacked from the RTP after leaking a tape to the media between himself and former RTP chief Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda.

And reinstated by the PM as there was more than a hint of an internal power struggle involved. But hey, why give the whole story!

The corner of the carpet has now been lifted. Now all they need is a broom...

The driver has admitted it was his fault and has been tested and was over the limit. No 'do you know who I am', no intervention by the father, and the police will now press charges.

And yet, out come the AseanNow cynics as usual.

This isn't the Red Bull case.  Completely different circumstances and reaction by all involved. And in response to a Pakistani and not a Thai being killed, no less.

OMG, this just keeps getting better and better.

If I was as rich as this guy I'd be getting my drivers to do the driving when I'm on the turps.

This is one mismanaged dude.

Being the son of an ex-topcop I would have thought dad would have given him clear instructions, like 'what ever you do, do not ever get yourself into trouble with the law)

It's a no brainer, obviously dad has failed in showing this delinquent the right path.

I've been working on the rigs for many years and the first thing I say to newbies that come to the rig is 'whatever you do, don't get yourself hurt'

You just got to get it right in life, get your priorities in order and you'll find life goes smoothly.

I’m sure his old man didn’t live by, or get rich by following the law.

if anything this guy would have been brought up laughing about how the laws only applied to the peasants and those such as us are exempt.

just another small minded little bitch pretending to be a man.

It works for me

Exactly...hence that would be applied to only you. Following strictly the rules is a Must, obviously but that is definitely not a pass to an easy life

so the original reference to it being the bike riders fault is no longer valid, bet this p*sses off the offender and his family but with all the other ways "rich/connected" thais have gotten away with killing others I dont really expect to see anything really happen to this moron, drink driving is something a lot of thais seem to do, they have no regard to the safety of other road users and its why we see so many die on the roads here, time to start hitting offenders with very severe action, would be good if this cretin was put away for a long time but I doubt that will happen with his connections/family wealth

Will be interesting to see if he serves any time at all!

The bigger problem is when 'nothing' is seen to happen to ***** like this, it is a massive green light to their ilk that they can do what the hell they like.

I think I see a pattern emerging here?

Cretin ?

Seems like an upstanding fellow to me, handed himself in and full admission to his wrong doings.

I think with the recent 'stiffened' penalties for DUI he can probably kill at least another 2 before he even loses his license ...
