So no need, in fact, to include scans of visas which might have been obtained in applying for the Thailand Pass either, presumably, despite the impression given by the official TP website which misleadingly states "Passport and Thai Visa (if required)" in its checklists of documents?

 

Thus meaning that we only require mandatory 20k USD insurance cover for a maximum 30 days in all cases, then, right?

No

The Thailand Pass is only for boarding a flight to here and then being able to enter the country. The airline used will check that a person can enter Thailand or not when a person checks in for the flight.

Immigration then handles the permit to to stay a person gets.
