Hospital checking visa
I thought it was clear. Also very onerous. Apart for continual nature of the treatment there is requirement for insurance + funds in bank (800k) etc. Almost seems like a Non O-A in another dress. Even health insurance is the same. With the DTV (medical treatment) available and such simple requirements it's a no brainer. -

USA Trump announces another 90-day pause on China tariffs
President signs executive order extending deadline for higher tariffs hours before agreement was due to expire Donald Trump once more postponed sweeping tariffs on China, announcing a further 90-day delay just before the deadline. On Monday, Trump signed an executive order extending the higher tariffs on China until 10 November, as confirmed by officials. Earlier in the day, Chinese officials had hoped for “positive” trade outcomes, with the 90-day pause brokered in May about to expire. In response to Trump’s decision, China’s commerce ministry announced it would also suspend additional tariffs on US goods for the same duration. China will maintain tariffs at 10% on US goods and take steps to address non-tariff barriers impacting American exports. Lin Jian, a foreign ministry spokesman, expressed a desire for mutual cooperation based on equality and respect. While Chinese and US officials anticipated the pause extension after last month’s trade talks in Stockholm, the stakes remain high. Trump has threatened tariffs of up to 245%, with China prepared to retaliate with tariffs as high as 125%, risking a full-scale trade conflict. On TruthSocial, Trump insisted China should quadruple its soybean purchases from the US to address the trade imbalance. At present, US goods face tariffs up to 30% when entering China, whereas Chinese products incur a baseline tariff of 10% in the US, with added charges linked to fentanyl smuggling allegations. The Federal Reserve and economists argue these tariffs will inflate US prices. According to Goldman Sachs, US consumers have shouldered 22% of these costs, a figure expected to reach 67% under current trajectories. Additionally, Nvidia and AMD, key chipmakers, agreed to pay the US government 15% of their Chinese revenue in exchange for export licenses. Stephen Olson, a former US trade negotiator, described this as a “monetization of US trade policy,” raising concerns about the implications for international commerce. Both nations are under pressure to reach a lasting accord, as continued delays could lead to economic instability on a global scale. As tensions simmer, the world watches closely, hoping for resolutions that benefit both economic giants without further strains on the international market.
