March 29, 20223 yr I am going to Bangkok for a few days. I always book a hotel, but because of the pandemic, my thinking is not booking as there will be so much choice. Am I doing the right thing? Also, is it usually cheaper to book, or just turn up and ask about a room? Thanks. I want to book a return flight to the UK, the return being about 3 months later. Is it always easy to change the date for your return as it is almost certain that I will want to? Are there any circumstances when I cannot change the date on my return? Thanks.
March 29, 20223 yr Normally cheaper booking in advantage. I check the price first in Agoda, then call the hotel to ask. Also depending on weekdays or weekends if you do a walk in, you will find weekend prices much higher.

Also, can be cheaper if you go on Agooda/Booking.com choose your hotel then call direct to negotiate a price....often cheaper that way.
