You guys make it so confusing….   this is my interpretation - as of April 1st, no PCR test is required by the Thai gov under the Thai Pass if your plane touches down on or after April 1st…th

QF requirements

Qantas vaccination requirements

If you're booked to travel to or from Australia on a Qantas aircraft, you'll need to be fully vaccinated at the time of travel. Some exceptions apply, including:

  • Children under 12 years of age. You don’t need to complete the Qantas COVID-19 vaccination exemption form.
  • Children aged 12 to 17 years travelling with a fully vaccinated adult. If travelling to Australia, travel must be to an Australian state or territory in which that child will not be required to undertake mandatory supervised quarantine. Be sure to check state or territory informationOpens external site in a new window for eligibility and requirements. You don’t need to complete the Qantas COVID-19 vaccination exemption form. See below for more information on requirements when travelling from Australia.
  • If you have a valid medical exemption.
  • If you're travelling on a ticket sold by Qantas for a flight operated by another airline, unless vaccination is a requirement of the operating airline or destination country.

For your perusal Captain M

Good for them. I stand corrected. The first airline in the world I have learned of to require vaccination on an Intl flight is Qantas. Now let me ask you is this a QF requirement or an Australian government requirement? Will the government require UA and AA to mandate vaccination to return to the US. The US government for example does not require US citizens to be vaccinated for covid-19 to enter the US.

That drongo Joyce had said as much in 2020 but got slapped down by his board.Glad they (QF) decided to do the right thing.

Yes it is. We left on 2 April and arrived in Australia already. Thats all the airline wanted.

Yes but the question was regarding a flight into Thailand.

Travellers will also still be required to wear a mask while on international flights based on medical advice. These measures will be implemented under the non-emergency provisions in the Biosecurity Act."
