Surin should have done a Will Smith on Phaisan, and just pretended to slap him, in order to get some media attention for them both.

That way Surin wouldn't be in jail and Phaison wouldn't be dead!

He lost his temper and whipped out a .380 gun and shot Phaisan in the chest killing him instantly

Three men were drinking but one was lording it over the others.

Moral : Pat your drinking buddies down for armaments prior to drinking with them

Another one! Everyday male Thai idiots solving every little problem, along with their personal shortcomings and inabilities by murdering, maiming or otherwise injuring others. Death sentence or life are the only acceptable options. Either way...society much better off now.

Cue the Thai male apologists. 3...2...1...

Is it  clever to "nationalize" exclusively?  On a global  scale Thailand is  not  disproportionately represented in "petty" deaths. It is how such  deaths  are officially recorded in defense of globally democratically  administered principles of  justice is  made  paramount !

Lets be fair about this .

He indeed is an "idiot" , but this behavior isnt exclusive to Thai people .

People from other Countries also act in an "idiotic: way .

Do ALL Thai males act in this way ?

No, they don't

Poor fella RIP.

Leaving such onerous, bullying people quickly and silently without telegraphing you intend to do so is the best option always. The issues of carrying a firearm begs me to wonder a long train of events have taken this man to this place to eventually commit murder.

I always remember what Earny Macquillan told me a long time ago in his boxing gym. No man can hurt your feelings and provoke you with their words unless you choose to let them, but if he tries to put his hands on you and you can't move away safely then finish it. His wisdom has stood me in good stead.
