Can you still leave your car at Chumphon when going to Koh Tao (Yes i know )

I have seen somewhere that the pier has a car park for 50baht a day to leave your car

 

We are going over to Koh Tao (Yes i know all about the reputation this island has received)

 

Last time i went was 20 years ago so looking forward to seeing it now

 

Has anyone been recently if so i am trying to find a bungalow for a family of 4 on the beach itself i really want to wake up on the beach not in a resort with a beach view.

 

Last time i stayed the bungalow was on the beach but i expect thats gone now

 

Any info will be great
