I come back on the 3 cars from post 611

2 of them were found by our distinguished members

The red one is a ac bristol 59

The white one is a chevrolet impala 66

The classic one...hmmm had to find a clue so went on internet

And I found this US convertible car (the left one here under). The model is the same as the brand of the blue silver classic

Some more Photos for all the tastes

In which case the blue classic is an Invicta, Noel Macklin sold out his interest and subsequently founded Railton. The clues being the Buck Invicta, and the Invicta S1. The final car is an Eldo.

Regards

For those of you who can still get youtube and are aficionados of the smaller car there's a cracking little Fiat here:

:o

I imagine at the red light on Sukhumvit (pattaya) the head of all the crazy motorbike racers when the light becomes green :D

Regards

First one seems to be based on a Glas [understand why, but no, however a famous designer].

Second should be a Fiat (Bertone??????) ['fraid not, 100% British]'

Regards

PS Above Monte Carlo Landau coupe, {Red}, Chrysler 300 {silver}, and the buggy type, not sure yet, but going to bed, really. Take care.

PPS It's Apal again isn't it?

Thick and fast today?

somewhere above is a Standard Pennant - Next to the Metropolitan estate (!?!?!?) my neighbour bought 2 convertibles for his daughters! - Probably thought it would put boys off them.

The Aussie car is a Ford Fairlane station Wagon - lots of extras and a 4.1 litre straight 6 which would explain why the Aussies leave the biggest carbon footprint per capita in the world. build quality was very poor though. The station wagons are stretched by about 3 inches and have a pick-up style half chassis at he back - after fitting air shocks and later some wider wheels it handled a lot better than my wifes Centurion tank.

The house - a Queenslander - is about 100 years old.

can anyone put a name to this ???

lets hope so because i have no idea what it is.

1955 Ferrari 375 America coupé speciale Pinin Farina

Regards

PS :- S/N 0355AL is a one-off, the 1955 Turin show car by Pinin Farina, and the last 375 America. It was sold to in 1955 to the Fiat chairman, Gianni Agnelli, and was a collaborative effort between Ferrari and Pinin Farina. It was also the first custom Ferrari coachwork owned by Agnelli.

There were only 375 America's built and this is clearly the most unique and important car of the limited group:

The grille is vertical not horizontal, the A-pillar is tilted forward rather than rearward and this car is one of the few early Ferraris to have a sunroof.

This car also has a unique flat rear window that partially opens, as well as being only the second Ferrari to exhibit the racy flying buttresses on the rear deck. These ground breaking design elements would later be seen on production Ferraris such as the Dino, Boxer and 308.

Number 3 above is a Packard 626 with straight 8 319ci producing 90hp.

Number 2 is a Bizzarrini Stradale 5300 , 67 of these were built between '65 and '69 {PS we've had this car before}

Number 1 is a Chevrolet Impala Series 3, with custom over-riders, similarly from 65 to, in this case, 70 model. Note there are no wing badges so it's not a SS.

Regards :o

FWIW looks like a Bonneville to me, the yellow coupe is another Apal, the 1200, and the slightly sad one looks like a Malibu Classic, the top of the range.

Regards

PS the blue one is going to annoy me, it's the old I know this but.... Time for sleep, glad you found a new source.

Blue car - Deutsch/Bonnet HBR4 Le Mans, about 1961

Not too bad I had the same feeling when I saw the car but they say it is a 52....

In late 1952 a D.B. roadster set ten new international records in the 750cc class, including a top speed record of 118.842 mph. The runs were good publicity for D.B.'s new GT Coach, the company's first production run with 100 bodies built in cooperation with Chausson, an innovator in the new fiberglass body techniques. Racing wins accumulated from 1953 through 1956, especially in the Index of Performance category. In 1957, the Panhard engines were improved with detachable, dual-plug cylinder heads, which increased output from the 610cc engine to 60 hp. Race results improved commensurately, with the 24 Hour of Le Mans serving as the marque's patriotic showcase: from 1958's second on Index to the 1959 sweep--first on Index of Performance, first on Index of Thermal Efficiency, first in class, and the 25th annual Biennial Cup. The Index remained a D.B. given through 1961, and the only reason D.B. lost the Index in 1962 was because D.B. no longer existed.

OK try these one please
