The issue is it's not really a Toyota.

 

It does nothing to keep Toyota profitable, if they sold all of these and none of their legacy cars they would have to shut all their factories.

 

Things will start happening for Toyota when we see them convert their existing factories to EV.

 

It is however a step in the right direction.

Looks like Toyota is back in the game...

 

I doubt they will be selling it in Thailand anytime soon though, still not enough competition in the Thai market and they can still sell plenty of their outdated ICE models here.

Hopefully the wheels won't fall off, and they'll actually submit the real production cars for the safety test  :cheesy:
