It does nothing to keep Toyota profitable, if they sold all of these and none of their legacy cars they would have to shut all their factories. Things will start happening for Toyota when we see them convert their existing factories to EV. It is however a step in the right direction.

Hopefully the wheels won't fall off, and they'll actually submit the real production cars for the safety test
