I've lost respect for Oliver Stone. He's just another fool with an opinion. You can't defend what Putin has done now and all the stuff connected to him over the past two decades like his apathy to journalists conveniently being murdered and all his opposition being locked away. And of course other acts.

Here's a pic from the Daily Mail of April 22. showing Russia's losses in Ukraine. Was all this really worth it? It's probably only the beginning of the massive losses of life and wealth to come. Plus the destroyed economy and the ruining of Russia's name taking it back to the Soviet years.

I though Oliver Stone learned something in Vietnam. Guess not.

One thing about psychopaths is that they generally appear socially as good, interesting people.   Stone says The Putin I knew was rational, calm, always acting in the best interest of the Russian people.

I suspect it might be a case of being cold, calculating and manipulative.

People who met Pol Pot say of him that he was very friendly and affable.  Has everybody got it wrong about him also. Was he in fact just a misunderstood great guy doing the best for his people ?

Stone is an imbecile . Whatever Putins justifications , right or wrong , the way that Russian troops have behaved in their attack on Ukraine is deplorable  There can be no excuses and the buck stops with Putin.

I think that Oliver Stone is a mug.

These countries were not forced to join NATO, they asked, because they feared Russia would do, exactly what it's doing now, expansion

I think Stone is a very bad judge of character who is obsessed with conspiracy theories.

Kind of like Glen Greenwald on crack.

Most of the useful western idiots for Putin are far right wing white nationslists like Tucker Carlson, Rand Paul, 45, and Marine Le Pen but a few are from the kooky wing of the left.
