Maybe giving away your nationality? Never heard of Piccadilly Circus?

A Circus is a circle or ring.

Maybe don't mock until you understand the language?

However,  in this case, it is named, and for the purposes  of uniformity,  as would snd should be the case of a dicipline in case of police, is Dolphin circus,  and you miss the whole jest, there keyboard warrior.  The OP said its a circus,  and I made a joke, Captain  Clown.

Police Haven’t Required a Child Car Seat Yet

BANGKOK, May 9 (TNA) – The Metropolitan Police Bureau states clearly that it has not imposed a child car seat rule on vehicles with a child aged six years and younger yet.

Why did I read this as "no more than 5 on a motorcycle"???

The wife's cousin came to visit us with her 18 month toddler. She parked the car in the street and opened the front passenger door, whereupon the little boy just tumbled out into the gutter and hurt himself. No car seat of course.

In the future it will be forbidden for more than 5 motorcycles to gather as this will constitute meeting for street racing.

Does this mean that the upcoming "Distinguished Gentlemen Ride" will not be done?

BANGKOK, May 9 (TNA) – The Metropolitan Police Bureau states clearly that it has not imposed a child car seat rule on vehicles with a child aged six years and younger yet.

Pol Maj Gen Jirasant Kaewsaeng-ek, deputy commissioner of the MPB, said the new rule under the Land Traffic Act would take effect in the next 120 days or on Sept 5 and it was intended to save children in the event of a traffic accident.

How about a car seat on the back of a motorbike when the family go for a day out, suppose when there's four on a bike there's not much room for one though.

Or in those sidecar contraptions or family of 4-on-moped. Another irrational joke “ law” ignored.

They can't even enforce a motorcycle helmet law so I'd wager this one will be ignored too.

Luckily

Thanks for the laughs! Next mothers with babies on motorbikes will have a car seats strapped to their chests. And factory airbags will be mandatory on motorbikes instead of a child airbag.

It would be nice to see more children wearing helmets on motorcycles. Some of these kids have no hope if they crash.

What you would like is irrelevant to reality - Thailand is like the wild west when it comes to the traffic laws - there aren't any.,.,

It's a money making opportunity isn't it.

Maybe the government is short of money to fund the police so this is the solution.

Also why not make wearing a seatbelt in the rear compulsory as well?

Been pinged plenty of times with people not wearing a seatbelt in Thailand its definitely against the law regardless of what seat your sat in.

Thankfully people with brains will do the common sense thing regardless of punishment. I dont wear a seatbelt because im scared i might get a fine.

Dont know why people get so upset about what every other random dumb Thai is doing. As long as my missus and kids understand why you need to wear a seatbelt or proper protective gear when riding a motorcycle (not just a helmet) thats all that concerns me.

Its not a proposed new law to improve safety as this government does not give a rat's a***e about that, if they did they would stop idiots being transported in the bed of trucks and actually enforce the laws that they already have.  No, it is about yet another reason by the state sponsored mafia, ala the RTP, so they can extort money from those they luckily catch so that high ranking officers can "feather their nests" even more.
