I have an unintended need to extend my current stay which is Visa Exemption expiring 18 MAY 22

I shall submit TM7 at my local Immigration.

My Thai wi*e expects to sell a property within next two weeks and I may have to sign an agreement in person at the Land Dept transaction.

What support documentation do I require in addition to PP?

Are you asking about what docs for 30 day extension?

You need copies of identity page most recent entry stamp and TM6.

You may require a TM30.

TM7 form and photo.

As for land office you only need your pp.

Can tourists still come in visa exempt for 30 days (just stamp at airport) at the moment?

So long as ThaiPass has been done, of course.

Thank you!

I don't suppose you know off the top of your head if the UK is one of those countries?

Today I went to local Immigration to apply for 30 day extension of existing visa exempt stay. The preliminary document check counter queried residential address. Showed them my Thai Drivers Licence pointed out the address was same as that on the TM 30 but not accepted. Wanted copy of Tabien Bahn. Had to return home to make copy and went back with EVERYTHING related plus originals. Asked how long I had been married so showed them our original Marriage Certificate indicating 47 years. IO said Marriage Cert no good which dropped my jaw. Smiling she explained the new format Marriage Certificate is 'prettier' and I should trade old for new. ????

Extension approved but, compared to the COVID extension I got two years ago the time at the desk was three times longer.
