All that money; all those connections and he still felt the need to commit 'apparent suicide'!  It's Thai police bonanza time.

Well considering the OP suggests 1.6 billion baht then the second article says 725 million, looks like there have been some fingers in the pie before the rort has even begun.

Interesting. Commits suicide because he was going to be extradited to the US. I think although still not good most would rather this than Thai prison. This stinks of extrajudicial killing to steal his ill gotten gains. What will the Canadian and US Embassies do?
