Armed hoodlums who attacked staffer at Korat hospital are taken to apologize - but show no remorse

Thai Rath reported on an alarming incident at Ban Lueam Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand's north east.

Two teens - aged 19 and 18 - at least one of whom was armed with a knife, were caught on video making trouble at the hospital's ER room.

They were annoyed at the treatment a friend was being given.

After they hurled insults for a long time at staff in the ER they walked outside and had an altercation with other staff processing patients at the front of the hospital.

A person was kicked and a shoe was thrown.

Police soon had the assailants in custody and two knives were taken into evidence.

But so far they have only been fined 1,000 baht and let go after admitting smoking marijuana.

Police are gathering evidence from the CCTV and hospital reports and charges of assault, attempted assault, having knives in public and trespass on state property are in the pipeline.

In latest news on the case the parents and relatives of the two young men took them to the hospital to apologize where senior nurse Sachchuta Petchsuk received their wais.

But it was a half hearted apology noted Thai Rath who said that the assailants' showed absolutely no remorse and simply walked off brushing aside the arms of hospital staff.

Police continue to investigate the incident.

This is why I love the RTP so much.

Thailand trying to look like US?

Wonder if the police have confirmed the two guys were not off-duty police.

I little time in the Monkey House will teach these boys a lesson.  Meet a few boyfriends...

Yeah.  If someone committed a crime against me and they were arrested.   Like I would really want  them to return and give me half hearted  apologies.

Another bunch of idiots whose punishment should be 5 years in the Army.

No thanks. Pity the poor soldiers whose lives would perhaps one day depend on such cowardly turds.

Think you are forgetting Thai toilets and the use of a tooth brush

You mean like in Baltimore? Because oh yes, the inhabitants are considered Americans now.

Very clever to mount a security camera with a fan in front of it!

How would these two idiots know what proper care was? Their combined IQ’s probably don’t reach 50.

Bang the little s h I t s up and don't pussy around with silly fines and teach them a lesson.
