Naomi Campbell to Advise Thailand on Global Fashion Aspirations
She was a supermodel in 1990 - now she is 54 and long time out of fashion. Maybe she can write a book how things were 30 years ago, but how relevant is that to the fashion industry in 2025? -

Time to End "Pay to Slay" the Palestinian Authority’s Terror Funding Network
Here's an example of Israelis targeting Palestinians. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_settler_violence The article indicates that it's a tiny minority of Israelis carrying out this violence, but it is still happening. Agree there's no country called Palestine. Would be nice if all illegal activities stopped, but I can't see that happening. From all sides in this. I'm not going to apportion blame, no point, neither side is in the clear on this. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
There are more than 60 different DTAs so cannot expect provincial RD staff to know what is in them (some don't even know what a DTA is). Source of income very much matters IF it is of a type not assessable in Thailand per the relevant DTA. -

Revolut Account Funding Questions?
Not really understanding of what you are trying to do, I transfer AU$ into both Wise and Revolut from my AU bank, normally I keep it under $2000 at a time, normally within an hour, heard the transfers can take longer with larger amounts, especially with Revolut, both currency converters give you the option of holding multiple currencies within your account. I would expect Euro from a European bank in your name lands in euros free of charge, and like wise with a US bank any other way its a conversion, but, wise has a great help line on there app they will answer within 24 hrs -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
I minimized my remittances in 2024 and brought in some cash from Singapore when returning from the F1. I also had a friend bring in cash from Australia. I'm not on a pension, but most pensions are over the threshold, so, there may be a small amount to pay for pensioners. I am expecting to pay some tax. I don't mind paying some tax for the security of knowing I have done so and receiving document from the TRD proving I have. Therefore no nasty surprises further down the track, particularly at extension time.
