New phone not working, can I do charge back??

The phone I bought yesterday isn't working properly, it won't read the SIM. I was clearly told if there was a problem within 7 days it would be replaced without problem.

 

Now I'm told I have to go to Future Rangsit and jump through various hoops. I've already done a lot of calls and running round.

 

The phone was 18k. I paid by credit card. What are my chances of doing a chargeback?

Is it just that sim? have you tried another? you could get a new sim with the same tel number from the network

Strange, usually the shop sets the phone up, puts sim in etc

These are the terms you agreed to. Keep all the packaging.

I'd have another set of eyes look at this issue. Probably user error. The phone boots?

Again, this is normal and specified in the terms and conditions. Are you able to go to Future Rangsit?

Without any detail, I'd say "No". But review the T's & C's of your card, and contact them.
