a fine example of what happens look no futher than Russia - all their big cruisers and properties all over the world worth billions - all money they stole off the people, my opinion is Thailand is actually worse,

Re the Russian oligarchs and their yachts and properties all over the world:

Russian oligarchs are business oligarchs of the former Soviet republics who rapidly accumulated wealth in the 1990s via the Russian privatisation that followed the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The failing Soviet state left the ownership of state assets contested, which allowed for informal deals with former USSR officials (mostly in Russia and Ukraine) as a means to acquire state property.

Until those in charge are forced to publish their wealth records and where it came from - with evidence - then nothing will change

Where there wealth is and how it got out of Thailand would also be an eye opener

Well since I read on here almost daily that those in-charge are soldiers with a low IQ, that reckoning of their published should not be too hard to uncover.

The transparency and accountability that so many demand from politicians and police would likely lead to the same being expected of every citizen.  This makes it unlikely to actually happen.

Oh wow! Intrigue.

Clearly you don't live in Thailand, or if you do for not very long perhaps as there is no intrigue about it.

So then why don't you just come right out and say it.

You clearly don't live in Thailand and/or know anything about Thailand as you would know the answer to your own question.  Can I suggest you do a bit of research into Thai laws and customs together perhaps with reading this forums guidelines ? All that should put you in the picture.

That's why I said 'intrigue'. Off the record, on the QT, and very hush-hush.

Long A New York Real Estate Mainstay, LLCs Lose Their Anonymity

PUBLISHED JANUARY 9, 2021

On January 1st, Congress passed a measure to end the secrecy around shell companies that has fueled a boom in high-priced New York condominiums. The new law could discourage the flow of international capital into Manhattan real estate, while giving investigators powerful new tools to detect money laundering and other financial crimes.

It wouldn't matter as they created a law that absolves them of any wrongdoing while in power, called amnesty...good to be in power here isn't it...

Protection for medics or impunity for govt: COVID amnesty bill under spotlight
August 14, 2021

The government is poised to declare one of its most controversial decrees under emergency law – one that would hand legal immunity to both COVID-19 health workers and those in charge of vaccine procurement.

While Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul insists this so-called “amnesty decree” is designed to boost morale of health personnel working in the frontline, critics are not convinced.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (Abrv: NACC)

The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand B.E. 2517 (1974) Section 66 stated "The State should organize government service works and other works efficiently and should take all steps to prevent and suppress the quest for benefits by corruption means."
