I wake up crossing my fingers each day as my trip gets closer as to whether they will lift TP. For good measure time to read up get ready to apply before I leave. 

 

Trying to figure him out is he throwing these numbers out like Songkran (50,000) if it doesn't happen he shines gets up touts virus is no match for Thailand medical system which indirectly is him " health minister " 

Now 10,000 4 days into the month since official opening let me guess without looking (down)?   Knowing full well everyone has been swapping, spitting, sharing body fluids for months now ????

Definitely frustration starts to set in many times I take it out on other posters not even caring I will be warned and suspended it is already hard being me but add these  head spinning announcements being Thailand I sit in my rocking chair helpless thinking I can't go out like this? No. It's not flu. Different virus. If anything it's more closely related to the common cold. The flu can be lethal but the common cold less so and this is usually associated with secondary infections in vulnerable people. Each new variant of Omicron seems to be more infectious and less severe. This is not the case with flu yet when flu season is here life goes on as normal. We all know (or should know) this is political and not medical or scientific.

Mr Anutin, did you know that there are noise laws in this country? Of course they are not enforced just like many other laws. I am sure that many many Thais suffer from hearing damage due to the noise levels that they are subjected to. That is why so many Thais shout instead of conversing normally.

Hearing damage, that falls under "health" doesn't it?

I don't need a decibel meter to know that the music in these venues is excessively loud.

Mr Anutin, why don't you see to it that the noise laws are enforced and maybe people could talk without shouting into each other's faces.

 

Anyway, they have got to hope that the number of infections does rise dramatically. If it doesn't people will be asking what was the point of keeping these venues closed for over a year.

Here are the facts: over 30000 people died in 2.5 years Covid while 81000 people die in Thailand from smoking each year - if the governments really cared about your health they should change their policies…

Their worst nightmare is coming true. Omi is mild, covid numbers are dropping and soon reasonable people will drop the use of masks, and the emergency decree with have to be lifted (unless the dinosaurs can come up with another excuse).

 

Then, all bet are off. Millions will be expressing their extreme disappointment with these goons and their failures and follies. 

 

Note to Anutin. Beer, wine and dancing do not cause the spread of Covid. Extremely selective shutdowns, favoring your cronies does allow the spread though.

The basis of everyone having the vaccine was to open up and get back to normal - never forget that important point.

 

Now, two years later, most of the population - globally - has had a vaccine and/or has had covid (myself included).

 

Time to move on from this nonsense mask wearing as have so many developed nations - I was for wearing it in the beginning when there were no vaccines and a far more dangerous strain - but it is a different world now. Off with these damn masks.
