No, not Terdsak or Somchai, I'm talking about the goop that is applied to threads to seal pressurized water lines.....

 

I have bought three brands of shutoff valves (male threads), including Hafele, which in the States is an excellent company that I've used for 35 years.....

 

And I've bought both the PVC fittings with the plastic (female) threads, and the metal threads, applying teflon tape accordingly (I built houses for 40 years).

 

All leak...drip.....drip.....drip. Not exactly desirable inside new cabinets (probably why Thais build cabinets from tile and block).

 

I doubt it's to be found in LOS, but thought I'd ask.

 

I miss galvanized.....
