onthedarkside
The Sunday Times claimed the prince accepted three million euros in cash donations for his charity the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund The Prince of Wales accepted large cash donations totalling three million euros from a former Qatari prime minister, the Sunday Times has reported. The newspaper claimed the prince personally accepted the cash donations for his charity the Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund (PWCF) between 2011 and 2015 from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim who was prime minister of Qatar between 2007 and 2013. Clarence House said the donations were “passed immediately” to one of the prince’s charities and that “appropriate governance” was carried out. Thailand
The sort of headline that would be considered scaremongering. He did receive it , and then passed it on to charities, that's it.
Bluespunk
So all this happened 7 years ago [well between 11 and 7 years ago] yet only comes to light a few weeks after charlie's comments on the govts appalling Rwanda deportation policy...hmm now there's a thing.

I’m more interested in who’s handing cash to elected officials and what it is they receive in return.

Regardless of the legality of it, it is astonishing that Charles or his advisors think that a million Euros in cash in a bag is a good thing to do... You would never do that in any business, in fact you would have a lot of questions to answer. He needs new advisors asap, and he should not be so naive. Thats before the question of 'Why' a Qatari sheik would want to donate to Charles's charity.... and then why in cash... in reeks of buying favor and that he would think this is acceptable is mind blowing really. And this would be the next King of England....
Popular Post DeaconJohn
Step aside now and make way for your son, Prince William to ascend the throne when the time comes. You've been a bumbling fool all your adult life. Are you so cut off from reality that you don't know that receiving large amounts of cash is like touching the third-rail for public officials? 3

KhunLA
What is it with rich royals. As if not having enough already, as their subjects live in poverty. People still hold them in high esteem. Foundations .... what a scam fund. Clinton foundation a fine example, when out of the influential political game, contribution drop to zip. hmm ... a bit telling, no influence no funding.

His efforts to get chummy and apply the 'common touch' with low-class Brits who started taking in socialism along with their mother's milk are comical in the extreme. 1 1 1
