Pattaya to Sattahip and back

Featured Replies

What will be the best way to get there using public transport service? Are there any like minibuses or bahtbuses going there from sukhumvit?

Bus line 138 goes there but probably will not take you directly to where you want to go.

You checked Bolt?

Also, there is heavy construction in both directions it took me over an hour to get back last weekend.

My only question is why you wish to go back? Once out, be happy!

Bolt says 300 baht a ride, which i am considering.

Be prepared for the Bolt driver to try and extract more money from you.  They appear to prefer short runs around town than trips of this distance.  Stand firm though and you'll get one that plays by the book.

Us too on a trip - quicker to use the longer but only 15 baht toll road.

I used to use the white baht buses, very cheap. Flag them down anywhere on Sukhumvit.

Ah, someone else never been to Pattaya, but I'm sure would love to visit. I'm sure the wife will let you go if you promise to behave yourself.

Ever been to Sattahip?

Not much going on compared to Pattaya.

no toll road between Pattaya and Sattahip, it's just straight down Sukhumvit for about 50 minutes

Unless you take the 7 motorway which is much quicker and well worth it for the 15 baht toll!

Sukhumwit baht bus 20 baht  to sattahip, minibus with red and blue stripes 60 baht

Never been? I have lived there as well as in Si Racha and Bangsaen. Done everything you are hinting about many years ago.
