If you only knew the difference between quantity and quality aside of having some taste and interest in different stones and highs... Anything under 150 baht is super reasonable for quality indoor. You pay over 250 baht for the same in Amsterdam.

I've seen posters on here proclaim it's better to buy cheap, less potent weed and smoke more of it than to pay for 'top-shelf bud', because it still works out cheaper. So, in effect, they are saying they value their wallets more than their lungs. You can't teach people like that anything.

True that, most who smoke the garbage also need much much more in a J than I just need a few sprinkles to get high from.

How do you know that? Are you sitting next to them and comparing? Running double blind tests?

A friend of mine buys buds for <30 per gram and Trim for as little as 5 baht per gram. Apart from bud size, there's little difference in appearance and smoking quality.

That's not to say that one wouldn't pay more for a high quality organically grown product. But the <30 baht stuff is sticky, pungent and doesn't need much to do the trick.

Dunno about that, the Biscotti I bought for 20bht/g is as good/strong as anything I've ever smoked, and I was growing my own at the start, but it's not worth the time or effort at current prices.

50g +COD delivery = 505bht

Don't know if it's good, but it's definitely cheap.

They have loads for sale at 7-10bht/g.

It looks like the typical outdoor or greenhouse grow stuff with around 10% THC. Loose, airy, dry looking buds that have little to no resin or trichomes. As long as it's fresh, has been dried properly, and has no mold or a musty smell then it's fine for that price. But it won't get you super high. You'll probably be smoking 1.5 grams per day to get solidly zooted. So lots of extra wear and tear on the lungs. In the 10-20 Baht per gram price range you get what you pay for.

Thanks for getting back. Usually they have two pictures of each strain, one as you have shown and another focusing on trichomes. Obviously the cheaper ones have less trichomes. 20 baht strains are better and not rock hard, but spongey, sticky and more pungent IMO. But that 9 baht example might be different. Either way, better than how filthy brick weed used to be 😊

Glad at least that it isn't a waste of money for you.

I'm only an very occasional with friends smoker and I know you tried everything from brick weed to your wife's grow 😊 and so sought your opinion.

 

Try dropping a small piece of citrus peel into a sealed container with a couple of the buds for 24 hours to see if that makes a difference. Only do it in small batches, so it doesn't get too moist and then go mouldy.

Yeah, it could be that. They might've sucked most of the THC and trichomes out of it to make some sort of extract or oil and now they're selling what's left of it dirt cheap to any takers. Hard for anyone to complain too when they are charging such a low price. What you got left there looks really washed out. Flowers don't usually look that dry, loose, and lacking color variation unless it's been washed or unless it's just some really cheap outdoor grown bunk.

The general advice seems to be to start with a couple of hours. Especially if you use a larger bit of peel. Just a couple or few buds at a time, so that can control the humidity and not waste your buds.

You can search it out yourself to read other people's recommendations. Be good if you report your findings/results.
