SCB, no more exemption from facial recognition in app
We can only hope but the message in the OP suggests it's for all transactions. I was at my local branch a couple of weeks ago to update passport and mobile number. They guided me (basically watched me do it) through the installation of the app and everything OK. I did mention something like 'sacan naa' but they didn't seem to understand so I left it for dead. No notifications about it in the app and nothing online about it that I can find. If true, the app becomes nothing more than a tool to check your balance. 🤔 -

Report Thailand Tightens Grip on Retirement Visas Amid Wealth Shift

I would rather have more cheap old retired guys than a glut of young idiots who are two week millionaires and seem to cause a lot more problems with violence and many have no clue of thai people or thai culture. -

BLM at it again in Gov.Walz’s Minneapolis streets …
The initial rioting after the death of George Floyd in 2020 did $500,000 in damage to the city and deprived tens of thousands of people of job-related income. Dozens of small minority-owned businesses were destroyed, often burned to the ground. Over 1,500 businesses, large and small, were hurt by the riots. https://www.newsweek.com/businesses-year-after-floyd-1596610
