With pressures mounting, Biden thinks GOP will make his midterm case for him

Little is going President Joe Biden’s way as the summer lull sets in before the crush of midterm elections.

Gas prices are up; his approval rating is down. A conservative Supreme Court majority is hacking away at his agenda by abolishing federal abortion rights and undermining environmental protections meant to curb climate change. His own party is losing patience, fearing that any chance of consequential change while Democrats control Congress is vanishing.

And Trump is going to help the Democrats on this matter: ????

And some conservatives feel worried about it! ????

If the censorship banning criticism of Biden ever ends, and the American left learn about the real Joe Biden he will be toast.

I wonder how The Guardian says

"On the political flip-side, House intelligence committee chair Adam Schiff said the laptop was a “smear” from Russian intelligence, and 50 former intelligence officials said it was probably Russian disinformation. Now, however, almost no one disputes its authenticity."

The last sentence. "Now, however, almost no one disputes its authenticity". Errr.. when did this happen??? There is so much to discus about our President once we are allowed to speak.

Allowed to speak?

There's clearly concerns about Bidens age if he were to win a second term.

But what about trump - if he wins he would be 79 and 83/84 at the end of his second term.

Are there are concerns in the GOP / GOP rank and file / the media / about his age profile?

Not sure what would be worse at a presser, him stumbling though while reading his notes, or her giggling all the time.

Kamala confuses me; before she won the VP post her performance at hearings for candidates for positions seemed quite powerful and hard hitting.

But now there's no 'power' and no 'hit' in her speeches or comments. None at all.

What happened?

The way the economy is going, Biden won't be running again.  Even if he managed to recover any part of his administration, he's a loser in 2024.

Vote time, that's all people care about, what's in their pocket.  Trump is done, if he keeps harping about stolen election & 2nd Amendment along with  pro-life.

Desantis now would be a good frontrunner for the GOP.  Anti left BS, and not too far right.

Nobody else shines for either party, just the same ol' same ol' losers of the past.

It seems quite obvious that the US has unbelievably troubling and possibly catastrophic constitutional, sociological, and systemic problems that go way beyond any one President or Party and which lay deep within the matrix of the culture itself.

Trump was and is a deplorable human being and I see as a direct threat to the nation, and thus the world, and not because he champions goodness and rightness but because he is a sociopathic destroyer.

Biden is a product of and also wedded to his own and Parties brand of personal and political enslavement.

The difference between Biden and Trump is that Biden is showing signs of age related cognitive decline while Trump is not; Trump has ALWAYS been an idiot.

Many Americans will be voting on the issues facing their everyday life such as the economy and gas prices not whether somebody was experiencing  cognitive decline   as in 46 as what you said or the progressive and Trump haters  opinion of 45.

See those gas prices below ,Its free campaign advertisement for the midterms imop  ! Its like drip drip hundreds of thousands times a day in the USA and its all on the dems/biden !

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/economic-issues-top-publics-agenda-poll/story?id=85183412

Joe Biden's approval ratings for his handling of these key issues are all well underwater, suggesting trouble for the president and Democratic candidates ahead of the midterm. Only 37% approve of Biden’s handling of the economic recovery, and even fewer approve of his handling of inflation (28%) and gas prices (27%).

You are correct, problem is if Biden is out, Kamala is in, I'm sure she won't be any improvement!

Nope. If Biden is out, it's an open game. Harris is to weak to be heir apparent.
