Areca was offering 850 per night. Big sign out front

Not for walk in and not on Agoda, if anything it has jumped up in the last 2 months... during Covid, yes it was cheap.

I have always been a fan of Sutus Court (although parking is a major consideration for me).   Sutus Court 1 around 760 Baht at the moment. Ask for a back room.   Travelodge is hand

  • Hi. Try the D Hotel which is always spotlessly clean in my experience.  Also nice and quiet.

2nd the recommendation for Areca lodge, very nice hotel & can usually be had for approx. 1,000 THB (Includes Breakfast).

1500 walk in for me recently.....including breakfast. I tried Metriopole, but they have not reopened their coffee shop yet.

It is usually more than 1000 but the Areca is always a good bet. Not much 'quiet' around Buakhao, but once behind the doors there it is okay.

I found it dated last time I stayed there (pre-Covid) and perhaps living on it's reputation.

Nature View is also worth considering.

Yes, depends which building you get. There are 3 all originating from different decades!

IMHO lucky escape as the LK Metropole wasn't very nice the last time I stayed there (had to run the taps for 5 minutes because the water came out like brown sludge) - Again, this was during one of the lockdowns so the rooms probably hadn't been used for a while.

We have found the Baan Buakhao fairly good value for money. Near Klang in the small soi next to Royal Suite.

Almost across the road from LK Mansion but a bit cheaper.

I stayed there and found it very good, back in 2020 it was only 500b and has parking for car.

Great hotel & (IMHO) worth an extra 200 THB but not sure it's worth an extra 700 (If it were me I would stay at the COSI hotel in Naklua at approx 750 THB pn & use the saving on Bolt taxis).

Good plan, some good hotels up Naklua road, stayed at the Alyara Palace one time, great value for money. Just not too  keen on the taxi side of it.
