Really ?in a restaurant of this size and the difficulties of getting the ingredients/ wine and staff, who could ever give an opening date ? With my partner we have opened 5 restaurants in France from scratch, and have never been able to give an opening date until 3/4 days before. And that’s in a country where you have the experts for design and installations, and also the head chef, 2 nd chef and the rest of the team present. -

Death of Ratchaburi Teacher/Tik Toker Hit by Train While Filming on Chulalongkorn Bridge
Picture from responders. A TikTok content creator and cycling enthusiast lost his life on the morning of December 18, after being struck by a train while filming a video on the Chulalongkorn Railway Bridge in Ratchaburi. The incident occurred at approximately 07:30 near the Chulalongkorn Bridge crossing the Mae Klong River. The victim, identified as Mr. Wiroj 53, a bilingual teacher and well-known Tik Toker, was struck by train No. 252 on its route from Prachuap Khiri Khan to Thonburi. Police, rescue teams from the Prachanukul Foundation, and officials led by Pol. Lt. Col. Pusnisa Chantrach, Investigator at Muang Ratchaburi Police Station, responded to the scene. Authorities found Mr. Wiroj's body in a devastating condition, with severe injuries including some dismemberment. His body lay on the railway tracks about 200 metres from his damaged bicycle, which had been flung to the side of the tracks. Scattered around the area were pieces of a broken tripod, fragments of his helmet, and personal belongings. Footage retrieved from the victim's phone suggests he was filming a video for his Tik Tok channel on the tracks when the collision occurred. Authorities believe that while he was focused on setting up his equipment and editing the clip, he failed to notice the approaching train. Reports indicate he had his back turned to the train, likely unable to hear the warning signals before being struck. His body was dragged along the tracks for approximately 200-300 metres before the train came to a stop. The victim's wife, visibly distraught, confirmed his identity at the scene. She explained that the morning had started normally, with the couple dropping their daughter off at school before she went to work and he went to film at the bridge, as he often did for his TikTok channel, "Pai Nai Pai Gun Namman Mai Tong Sai" ("Wherever We Go, No Gas Needed"). "He was a kind and cheerful person who loved cycling and sharing his life on TikTok," his wife recounted. "He always took care of our family. I don't know how my daughter and I will continue without him." Mr. Wiroj was a beloved figure in the local cycling community and an active Tik Tok creator who also reviewed products and tourist attractions. Friends and followers of his channel were stunned by the news of his untimely death, describing him as warm-hearted and passionate about his hobbies. Police and rescue teams continue to investigate the incident, and no foul play is suspected. Authorities are urging the public to exercise caution when filming or taking photos near railway tracks, emphasising the dangers of being distracted in such hazardous areas. -- 2024-12-18 -

GeminiAdvanced 4-free after upgrading Drive Storage:What's it good for? Nothing/Something?
So then, concerning the usefulness of Gemini-Advanced.....for somebody like me.... One with a fertile imagination better than that of Gemini's puny imagination.... I would say that it is not worth upgrading to 5 TBytes of storage....just to...get.... Gemini-Advanced. Instead, just upgrade to 5-TBytes of storage because..... Having that much storage, or more....is COOL..... In itself. Also, IMHO....you should go for the 50 TByte plan....or, more realistically.... The 10-TByte plan, which I think is enough for some. In total, I have 20 TBytes on separate plans. And, this is just barely enough for me. BUT, then back to Gemini-Advanced. I still do not know what it might be used for, so far....that might be useful. Originally, I had asked Gemini to show me an image of a handsome young man riding a motorcycle along a narrow road in Martha's Vineyard, a dark unlit road, such as one recalls from A Clockwork Orange. The cool/cold air of summer hitting the rider in the face, at 3AM, as I remember well. Unfortunately, Gemini, which is anything but human, cannot generate an image based on a Martha's Vineyard of 1970, about which it has almost zero data Only HUMANS who have been there and done that can imagine what it was really like. Speaking of humans: Most humans are able to easily picture in their mind the juxtaposition of a Tom Cruise on a fast-bike, cruising at 3AM, on very narrow roads, with trees overhanging, and the smell of vegetation strong in the nostrils, helmet-less, and at very high speed, and crazy with delight. All you need do is think of this song, and this vid, and then you got it in less than a second. Gemini, by comparison is still brain-dead.....
