Thailand has reported that it has discovered its 1st case of the fast spreading ‘Monkeypox’ disease with the Department of Disease Control coming out to say that it has measures in place to tackle any situation that may arise from the discovery.

The Department of Disease Control came out to say that there was no need for the population to go on a panic mode as the agency has formulated a scheme to undertake surveillance and isolate the patients who may be infected.

Monkeypox, which has spread at rapid pace across the world, and countries around the world are having a difficult time trying to control the spread as demand for vaccines are outstripping the supply, has started to appear in Asia over the past few weeks.

Are they sure it's monkey pox and not an STD?????

Joking aside, my friend recently nearly died from Syphilis complications, which he acquired in Phuket. There's some scary **** out there.

Interesting that the Authorities chose a photo of the rarer red squirrel to represent monkey pox in the above image. Surely not squirrel pox?

Three brothers from Ireland were thought to have monkey pox but it was diagnosed as herpes.

We’re they the same guys who left the fourth brother behind when responding to an advertisement " Tree fellers"…

Let's assume that he took a plane shall we? I don't think he swam!

What about a boat ? Rich Russians get here by that mode of transport so suspect for a Nigerian prince, that would be within his budget perhaps.

More like they find out he won't or can't pay, then they'll admit he is actually illegally in Thailand placed in a holding jail where he will spread the disease then he'll be deported and all bills will be canceled.
Just a guess.

Well, possible I suppose! Or maybe a helicopter, or submarine, or even a hot air balloon?

I was thinking more in terms of pprobabilities rather than possibilities!

Apparently, it isn't only spread by homosexuals.

According to the CDC website, Monkeypox can spread from person-to-person through:

direct contact with the infectious rash, scabs, or body fluids

- respiratory secretions during prolonged, face-to-face contact, or during intimate physical contact, such as kissing, cuddling, or sex

- touching items (such as clothing or linens) that previously touched the infectious rash or body fluids

- pregnant people can spread the virus to their fetus through the placenta.

Seems to be anyone can pass it on.

Don’t let facts get in the way of a good story. Have you learned nothing from the last 2.5 years!
