Popular Post webfact Posted July 26, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 26, 2022 File photo The British pound sterling hit its highest rate for four months against the Thai baht. The currency has been poor against the Thai baht in recent months though the Thai currency has broken records against the US dollar in 2022 trading. Now following a long period of political instability in Westminster it appears that sterling is bouncing back. Latest rates on Super Rich today: US Dollar - 36.3 - 36.6 baht Sterling 44.15 baht Euro 37.4 baht AUS $ 25.4 baht Can $ 28.45 baht NZ $ 22.9 baht ASEAN NOW notes that many thousands of British pensioners live in Thailand but many are at the whim of exchange rates. The recent rise in the pound will be comforting even though a high of 46.4 baht - achieved last August - is still some way off. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-07-26 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Pouatchee Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Funny, the only rate from a bank or exchange business that has any quotes that realistically resemble the exchange rate I have ever gotten is the Krungsri Bank and right now their rates are at least 1 bht below this advertised rate. For me, this means that I lose at least 10 000bht every time I make a transfer.

Popular Post Laughing Gravy Posted July 26, 2022 Popular Post Posted July 26, 2022 Let me know when it gets to 55 or even 60 to the pound. Otherwise it is hardly worth doing cartwheels for. 7 1 1

But when you run a Merc every Baht counts lol. In the last twelve months or so that 65100 has cost me between £1427 and £1752. Hang on a minute, that few quid would pay for our lunch. It seems that I completely misunderstand where we are on the Ex Pat Financial ladder. We have quite a nice house, run two cars, holiday whenever we want and same with golf. Yet I value £33 and it appears many don't on this forum, it just goes to show how wrong one can be., £33 would go a fair way towards some new 'kit' for the Mrs ???? 5

You can compare with this one from Kasikorn, but better would be to download the Super Rich app to your phone. You will get the exact rate posted in those, but I'm sure you know that notes will pay a different rate than telex transfers https://www.kasikornbank.com/en/Rate/Pages/Foreign-Exchange.aspx

Neeranam Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 4 months, Holly moly! When it's 4 years I'll think something. Anything over 37 is good, the rate when I came here. Hope it goes down, I'm going there soon. 1

Gknrd Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 I am not from England but looks like a wise move to move from the Euro now. Euro is down to almost US levels. 1
