Thailand did not want to see any activity that would heighten tension and undermine peace and stability in the region.

Then, I assume Thailand will be issuing a condemnation of China's "live fire" exercises surrounding Taiwan, beginning today. Essentially, it amounts to a blockade. Perhaps the US should set a submarine or two off the waters of Singapore and announce a "live fire" exercise for any cargo, container, or tankers going to China.

If you load this in Chrome and translate to English, you'll see what China is actually doing in the military exercise - and it is to choke Taiwan.

Marked areas are those that exercises are at. All around TW. In article you have explanation why each of them matter and how they cripple Taiwan.

Rich coming from a government that stole a nation. Best just pipe down and do what you've always done... be mates with the winning side. :whistling:

This is the same Thai government that supports China's exclusive claim of sovereignty over the entire South China Sea and all its attendant resources that was held invalid by the International Court of Justice. Yet, Thailand itself has zero claim to any of the SCS and should thus ordinarily remain neutral or side with INTERNATIONAL LAW. But for the Prayut regime that's a mighty political hurdle while bringing tied to Xi's political hip.

the same Thailand that is "supposedly" neutral Russia invasion of Ukraine and yet they received Russia delegation, but they are neutral ... look at Thailand "neutral" past  555

Thailand in World War II officially adopted a position of neutrality until the five hour-long Japanese invasion of Thailand on 8 December 1941,

Coming from a regime that took power via a coup that's priceless.
