Popular Post Geoffggi Posted August 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 8, 2022 The Phuket Police will not be pursuing any charges against the parents for possession of the weapon and it was not immediately clear if the weapon was legally owned or why it wasn’t locked and secured. One has to ask the question WHY?? This lackadaisical attitude is exactly what is wrong with the RTP and rules in general. 8 1
Photoguy21 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Not a lot you can say. The parents are incapable of having such items and as a result a child paid with their life. RIP young lady 1
Sydebolle Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 "A new house blessing ceremony was held ......... (they) .......were playing on the second floor.." Well, the ceremony could have been under a better star then.
Popular Post Bangkok Barry Posted August 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2022 Why does someone need a gun in the house? (Americans need not respond). They have one purpose and one purpose only - to kill. And to leave a loaded one where a kid can find it is beyond belief. And yet nothing happens, all is forgiven as a member of the family only killed another member of the family. “The boy has not faced legal action in this case as he is under 12-years-old and it was a tragic accident. The girl’s family does not want any further legal action either as they are relatives.” 3 1
Purdey Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Clearly an accident so not surprised the police are hesitant to add to the family's grief. The boy will have to live with this. 1

Latitude Dude Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 (edited) "Guns don't kill people..." YES THEY DO. Yet another child dies as a result of gun ownership. Rest in peace. Edited August 9, 2022 by Latitude Dude 2

digger70 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Parents are responsible for this . Why wasn't the Gun stored properly? Why was it Loaded ? Was it a Legal Registered Gun? Throw the book at the parents .
brianthainess Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Again ! unsecured weapons left for kids to play with. this country is pathetic with gun control. lock 'um up in a cabinet secured to the wall ! but of course you need guns handy at a house blessing in Thailand. how did that go by the way ?
