I am in a condominium and our juristic office has set up during a committee a collection insurance money for the building outside the annual meeting and common fee. They mention that for 4 or 5 years this had not been put in place either by them or by the previous legal person, is this legal?

Usually yearly maintenance fee covers all this, anything over that, usually a supplementary fee is approved at the AGM

I am aware of two different developments in which the condo juristic person collected the insurance premium for the building and common areas separately from the annual maintenance fee.
