Transfer ownership of my PCX.

Featured Replies

Hello!

I live down in the South of Thailand and my sister lives in the north.

I will be leaving the country soon so I want to transfer ownership of the bike to her name and have it shipped up there.

Can I do that without having to attend when the transfer and paperwork is being made? Assuming I have filled in all the correct paperwork, signed, and have it sent to her etc.

I read somewhere that there are new rules in place where both seller and buyer needs to be present to be able to transfer ownership.

Any info or advice much appreciated,

Cheers!

Yes, no problem.

"Assuming I have filled in all the correct paperwork, signed..."

If you can, double check at registration office both ends, especially her end, ahead of time, before mail the documents.

I should have explained better: On her end be sure you know what docs they want to see & ensure you have signed in places they want to see your signature.  Should be able to confirm your end alone, but perhaps better to be safe that have to do twice.

Go to the provincial transportation office and ask them there.
